$0 – $50 bill amount is a $2.50 flat fee

$51 – $5,000 bill amount will include an additional 2.8%.

2.8% applies to all amounts over $51 less the first 50 spent. 
Ex #1: $100 charge = $2.50 + (100-50) x 2.8% for a total fee of $3.90.
 
Ex #2: Our fee is $2.50 for $0-$50 and then + 2.8% for $51-$5,000, if someone’s bill is $51, it would be $2.50 + 1 x .028 = $2.53.
